FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Tampa, FL — February 26, 2018 –DIAMOND TECH TILES, as part of its ongoing partnership with Habitat for Humanity, has donated a range of tiles to the Habitat for Humanity chapters in the Tampa Bay, St. Petersburgh and Clearwater areas. These areas were affected and, in some cases, devastated by recent hurricanes and natural disasters.
Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria each caused unprecedented and widespread devastation, forcing thousands of people out of damaged homes and communities in Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. This year’s donations from Diamond Tech Tiles will bring a total estimated retail value of more than $250,000 that can be used to help families rebuild.
Habitat for Humanity has local organizations throughout the regions affected by the storms. Diamond Tech Tiles is working with this organization to assess shelter and housing needs ahead of the next hurricane season.
Long-term plans will be determined after the evaluations and will depend on the level of support received from donors, volunteers, corporate partners and other community organizations.
